The Waring depot is now a private residence. The owner is restoring the depot and welcomes visitors. Waring is an isolated location. Most highway traffic was diverted to US 87 and then IH-10. The depot is located (maybe 1 block) south of the intersection of Ranch Road 1621 and Old San Antonio Road. For more information, see the Depot in Waring
